  • 7:30 a.m. - Conference Registration Begins
  • 9:00 a.m. General/Keynote Session Begins

  • Adding a session to your schedule does not reserve your spot in that session. Session capacity is listed for planning purposes only.
  • Be sure to to sign in and sign out with the electronic form each day. If you create a Sched account, you will receive email reminders in the morning and the afternoon. Please see the registration desk If you have any questions.
  • In addition to the sign out form each day, you can leave feedback for individual sessions through your Sched account. Your feedback helps us plan sessions for upcoming events.
  • All attendees will receive a morning and afternoon email from Sched regardless of what day(s) you are attending. You can disregard the email if you aren’t attending that day. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Fern Westernoff is a speech-language pathologist with over 30 years of experience at the Toronto District School Board. She served on the Immigrant Assessment Team, and co-instructed in the Kindergarten Early Language Intervention (KELI) Program, where she was also a co-program leader supporting the development of the program. Fern has presented in Canada, the U.S. and Israel regarding cultural and linguistic diversity and communication disorders. With many publications to her name, her most recent work is the Home Oral Language Activities (HOLA) Program, a book bag program designed to help parents use the home language to support the academic progress of their young children.
